The Saree
The sari has oft been described as 'the cloth that covers all...yet reveals all'. It is a long piece of cloth wrapped around a woman's body that adds so much allure to the women. The principal garment of a Hindoo woman. It consists of a long piece of cloth, which is wrapped round the middle of the body, a portion being arranged to hang down in front, and the remainder passed across the bosom over the left shoulder. The Lehanga
This is a elaborate skirt which has a matching blouse. A peice of cloth comes along with this dress and it can be worn over the shoulder or even over the head.
The Selwar Kameez
This what is mostly worn in India. Many girls and ladies where this as it is very comfortable. It is consisted of loose pants, with a long type dress, and a piece of cloth which is worn over the shoulder.
Men's Wear
Most men in India usually where pants and a shirt but when on special occasions such as wedding or grand parties, they may wear these kind of outfits called Sherwani or the shorter jackets which are called Jodhpuris.
